Named the Long & Foster branch manager for the Strawberry Street office in 2017, Ann and John dissolved their husband wife team.
John was born and raised in Virginia, grew up in Virginia Beach, and left in 1977 to attend Virginia Episcopal [High] School in Lynchburg, VA for four years. From there John went to Ashland, VA and attended Randolph-Macon College, graduating with a BA in English, with minor studies in Studio Art. John moved to Washington, DC. where he was introduced to construction & architecture, and began attending The Catholic University of America, eventually receiving his MA, with a Masters of Architecture in 1992. He moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1993 with his wife Ann, and their three children.
A licensed Architect as well as a REALTOR® & Associate Broker in real estate, John began his career in 1986 managing residential construction and development. Specializing in high-end custom residential homes and renovation, John has extensive knowledge and experience in the housing industry. John brings specialized knowledge to the real estate industry. He has the natural ability to communicate effectively, and is particularly understanding when it comes to a client’s individual needs.
John began his real estate career in 2002, was rookie of the year and has been a top producing sales agents since 2003. John and his wife Ann established a husband-wife team in real estate in 2007, and were the top sales team at Virginia Properties from 2009-2016. In 2017 John became branch manager for the Long & Foster Strawberry Street office in the Fan of Richmond, Virginia, where he works today.
